THUISHAVEN

Thuishaven is a little outdoor festival in the West of Amsterdam, near Westerpark, where techno/elektro is being played. It's a festival that takes place almost every weekend.

Eve asked Dolo and me to join her and her colleagues from Bookabus to go to Thuishaven. Of course we said yes because what is more fun than a festival when the sun is out and everybody has that happy, summer vibes all over them?!

First we gathered at the Westerpark so that we could bike together to the festival. Dolo and I got to know the team of Bookabus and they are really nice people! After an hour we left the park and biked to the festival. Luckily, we bought our tickets in advance because it was sold out.

The festival grounds was all covered with sand, you could almost imagine that you were at the beach. And as expected, everybody was in a super happy and friendly mood! When it was getting dark, there were people who were walking with dog heads, lighted jellyfishes and lot's of balloons in the shape of a bird. It was crazy! We had another amazing party in Amsterdam!
