DE YSBREKER

Sometimes my roomies and I suffer from Monday blues, especially when it's nice weather outside and we had to work the entire day. Those are the days when we treat ourselves for a dinner in the sun on a weekday.

We decided to have dinner not far from where we live, at De Ysbreker. It's a restaurant that is located just near the Amstel. So even when it's super hot outside, it's still lovely to sit at De Ysbreker because the trees give you some shelter from the sun.

THE FOODDD

This time it wasn't that hard to make a decision for me. When it's hot outside I prefer cold dishes like a salad. So I took a large Caesar salad wich was served with a poached egg, anchovies, croutons and parmesan. Nothing special but it was just good. Dolo took the Dutch asparagus with raw salmon, potatoes, beurre blanc and tarragon. She really enjoyed it! Eve ate the White wine risotto with parmesan, truffle sauce and wild mushrooms.
