BOI BOI

The night before Kingsday we decided to met with some friends including Robin, a classmate of Eve and me. We currently live in the same city but it is hard to meet because of our busy lives here. The plan was to first have dinner and after that go to Hannekes Boom.

Boi Boi is the place to be for Thai food! You can have dinner in their restaurant or you can order to eat it at home. In the kitchen of Boi Boi they cook with ingredients they buy on the market. But in other ways they also try to involve the neighbourhood  to this restaurant. For example: the Italian wine is selected with help of neighbour Monega which is a wineshop.

THE FOODDD

We started with an appetizer: Chouffe. Some Belgian beer with some Thai food in a restaurant owned by Dutchies. The dishes that were ordered that night were: the red curry with rice, the Pad Med Ma Muang once with chicken and one with only vegetables, the Pad Thai which is made with home made tamarind sauce. I choose the dish with chicken marinated in ginger and garlic accompanied with chicken. It was so freakin' good!
