On Sunday my family came to visit me, so this includes my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother and his girlfriend. As the weather was so lovely, we decided to rent a boat. A typical Amsterdamish thing that still was on my bucket list while being here. The day before I went to the super market and bought some wine, soda drinks and appetizers so that we could have apero time on the boat. On the canals it was very busy because we weren’t the only ones who rented a boat of course but still, it was so cool!

WHATTT

After the boat we went wandering in the little streets of Amsterdam and had another apero. The time flew by and before we knew it, we were already in a restaurant, called Mama Dough, having dinner. Mama Dough is a restaurant on the Beukenplein, which is just two streets from my apartment. It’s a pizzeria where they serve delish pizzas.

THE FOODDD

I’m not a big fan of pizza’s because after a while it get’s boring and it’s mainly bread with some toppings on, but because Fabian and I were already in the shared dining atmosphere the entire weekend, we decided to switch halves of our pizzas. I took the pizza bianca Zucca which was served with mozzarella, pumpkin, spinach, walnuts and arugala; Fabian chose the pizza rosso Diavola which was served with tomato sauce, mozzarella, spicy sausage, red chili, onion and olives. The rest of my family took the same pizzas except for my mother, she chose for the Melanzane which is a lasagna of eggplant with tomato sauce and buffalo mozzarella and my sister chose the pizza Capricciosa which was with tomato sauce, mozzarella, cooked ham, salami, mushrooms, olives and artichoke.

When the pizzas were in our stomachs, it was already time for everybody to go back to Belgium unfortunately. I enjoyed this weekend so much!
