As you already know my boyfriend came to visit me this weekend. He always comes by car even though taking the train would be chiller because the trip on Friday from Ghent to Antwerp is always five hours. But anyway, as the car was here in Amsterdam I got an awesome idea. THE BEACH! It was only a half an hour drive to Bloemendaal. It was so nice to relax at the beach and chill and eat and drink and tan and get in the water and …
WHATTT
When we were tanned enough we went back to my apartment and got ready for the evening shift. I wanted something Asian to eat, surprise surprise, so we found this place called Soi74. A place where they serve thai streetfood in the De Pijp district. This is also a place for shared dining in a bright interior with industrial details and wooden accents.

THE FOODDD
Our evening meal looked like this: as a starter we got the satay lemongrass with peanut curry followed by our main dishes: the Kaeng phed, a red curry with pineapple, tomato and rice; and Krapau gai, a dish with chicken minced meat, Thai basil, red chili, garlic and rice. We enjoyed our meal with a good and fresh Thai beer, Singha. And hell yeah, another great place we discovered!
So if you feel like craving for street food, go check it out: http://www.soi74.nl/
