FLEA MARKET

Every month there is one big flea market at the IJ-hallen in Amsterdam North. It's actually one of the biggest and most unique flea markets in Europe. The perfect place to find some cheap and exclusive pieces of clothes, furniture or whatever you can imagine.

The flea market has 750 stands. Everybody who wants to sell their old stuff, just have to subscribe on the website. But be warned, you have to be fast. As a customer you have to pay five euros to enter the market. Once you're in, it's like a maze. There is so many stuff you get dizzy of it. After two hours we were completely done with it. It was too much! But if you're a big fan of those kind of markets and you are a pro in finding master pieces in such a big market, you have to go! You can perfectly wander there the entire day.

My catch of the day was a jeans jacket. I have been looking for one since forever. But I'm very critical of how it should look: it had to be baggy and the colour had to match my jeans (trousers). Ow yes, I brought my pants to the market so I could compare the colours. Et voila!
