Sunday morning, Silke and I were starving while my other two roomies where still asleep. So we decided to brunch. But we didn't wanted to walk that far as we weren't ready for that yet, thus I found Hotel Arena that was in a five minutes walking distance.

Hotel Arena is located in the Oosterpark, the park where I always go running. More than a century ago the property of Hotel Arena was originally built as an orphanage. And not so long ago, Hotel Arena was a popular spot for backpackers. But now Hotel Arena is the perfect place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner, to stay at the hotel for a couple of nights or to organize events like Heiniken did for their Heiniken After Work.

THE FOODDD

Silke chose for a regular tosti with ham and cheese. Because I had a regular tosti the day before, I opted for a croque madame. My croque madame was served on sourdough bread with of course ham and cheese AND a fried egg with gryere on top. The best you can get on a morning like that one.
