Another SUNDAY BRUNCHDAY had arrived. This time I decided to try Vinnies out together with my boyfriend who was on a visit this weekend.
WHATTT
Vinnies has three locations so you can choose the location what is closest for you. But you have to be aware that the menu also differ from each other. So it's also smart to check out the menu and then make a decision. Everything (okay, almooost everthing) you see at Vinnies is for sale. So you can actually take a piece of Vinnies home.

THE FOODDD
My boyfriend and I discussed for 15 minutes what we were going to take because we actually wanted to taste everything. Eventually we made a decision. I took the shakshuka. It's a middle eastern egg dish. I've only eaten this meal once on my erasmus in Porto last year. An Israli friend organised an Israeli dinner night and this was one of the dishes she prepared. I've always wanted to eat it again so I was very happy when I saw this on the menu of Vinnies. Shakshuka is a dish of two poached eggs in a spicy tomato/ red bell pepper sauce served with bread, feta cheese and coriander.
My boyfriend took the English breakfast Omega 3. This was a platter filled with two poached eggs on organic toast served with smoked salmon, mousse of smoked mackerel, roasted vine-tomatoes and avocado. And besides our main dish we shared a warm organic croissant with ham and cheese.
